I completed my Bachelor of Science Honours Kinesiology degree from the University of Waterloo in 2009. Following this I attended the University of Western Ontario for my Masters of Physiotherapy degree, which I completed in 2012.
I have taken multiple post-graduate courses to add to my treatment approach, including Mulligan therapy techniques, soft-tissue release, concussion rehab, multiple vestibular rehabilitation courses, and I have completed my STOTT Pilates certification for rehab therapists. I also hold my Level 1 and 2 Traditional Acupuncture through Acupuncture Canada (AFCI), and am certified in Integrated Dry Needling Acupuncture. I enjoy taking new courses with up-to-date research to help improve and expand on my manual therapy skills, and through years of extensive post-graduate courses, I completed my Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2022. I am now proud to be a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT); an internationally recognized qualification in manual therapy. Furthermore, I have taken additional courses in Pediatric Physiotherapy with a focus on gross motor milestones and infant motor development.
I always want to ensure that every client understands their injury fully, and that they are comfortable and confident with their individualized treatment plan. I aim to have each client be an active participant in their care, and make sure that all movement mechanics that may be at fault are addressed in their treatment program. I use a combination of manual therapy, acupuncture (traditional and/or dry needling), stability exercises, and education, to help each client reach their goal. Most importantly, I feel my calming and empathetic nature helps each client feel comfortable and safe in our treatment space. Creating strong positive therapist-client relationships is what has drawn many clients to me over the years, even being awarded the Reader’s Choice Award for Best Physiotherapist in KW region in 2021.
In the summer of 2023 I became a first time mom to my beautiful baby boy Myles, and when I have spare time I enjoy going for runs with my dogs Ricki and Charlie, rock climbing, and I am often traveling up to Sauble Beach to enjoy beautiful Bruce County with my family!

My love of physiotherapy started at the age of 12, thanks to a severe back injury I sustained through my “career” as a competitive gymnast. I was fortunate enough to have an amazing physiotherapist—with a passion for teaching—that got me back to my sport, but also opened my eyes to the bewilderment and wonder of our incredible bodies. Since then, I have been on a path to help others through movement -as I was.
This led me to pursue and complete my Bachelor of Science Honors Kinesiology with a minor in Rehabilitation Sciences in 2018 from the University of Waterloo. I then went on to earn my Master of Physical Therapy in 2020 from Western University.
Since graduating I have continued my education through various post-graduate courses including, concussion management, vestibular rehabilitation, advanced manual and manipulative orthopedics, pediatric and infant gross motor development, and level 1 traditional acupuncture through Acupuncture Canada (AFCI – see what they are still called). In addition, I have completed my certification in Integrated Dry Needling Acupuncture.
Due to my background as a personal trainer and artistic gymnastics coach, my first love in physiotherapy has always been orthopedics and sport specific training. However, since physiotherapy school I have had a special interest in treating pediatrics/infants and patients with neurological injuries. I have since had years of experience treating various orthopedic conditions as well as conditions such as, delay motor milestones, torticollis, plagiocephaly, toe walking, low tone, mild traumatic brain injuries, acquired brain injuries, concussion, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Functional Neurological Disorder, etc.
I have treated a variety of patients of all ages as well as professional acrobatics, Canadian athletes and aspiring and retired professional athletes.
What I love about being a physiotherapist is that I get an opportunity with each patient to teach them something new about their own body so they can be an active participant in their recovery. Using a collaborative goal-oriented approach, I will help lead you to your peak health and fitness with a combination of manual therapy, exercise, traditional acupuncture, dry needling, cupping, education and neurological facilitation (as needed).
Outside of the clinic you can find me standing on my hands, hanging off a rock wall (indoors and outdoors), flipping through the air with my acrobatic partners, attending hot yoga/Pilates, making stain glass suncatchers, learning to cook (better) from my brilliant best friend, running (even in the winter), and cuddling with my dog Roscoe.
